HUTA (BTOB)
BTOB’s Lee Minhyuk as solo artist HUTA: from “YA” and “BOOM” to “Bora” and “Icy & Spicy.”
Artist Overview
Lee Minhyuk performs solo as HUTA alongside his work with BTOB. This five-song introduction moves from HUTAZONE through a lyric-video interlude, BOOM, HOOK and TEMPERATURE. The selections highlight different ways a rapper, singer and songwriter can shape a solo record. Group releases remain on BTOB’s separate Artist Hub.

YA
“YA” introduces the HUTAZONE chapter of Lee Minhyuk’s solo catalogue. In this 2019 selection, the focus moves from BTOB’s exchanges between members to one performer holding the centre. Compare the song’s vocal delivery with his group work, then watch how the official video builds a distinct identity around HUTA.

Good Night (알아)
“Good Night” adds a different kind of video to this route: an official lyric presentation rather than a choreography-led music video. Use it as a pause between “YA” and “BOOM.” Following the words alongside the voice offers another way into HUTA’s solo catalogue, beyond the impact of a performance image.

BOOM
“BOOM” shares its name with HUTA’s second full album, released in 2022. It returns this route to the music-video format after “Good Night,” giving listeners a clear contrast in presentation. Focus on the relationship between the hook, rhythmic delivery and movement before exploring the rest of the full-length record.

Bora
“Bora” fronts the seven-track EP HOOK. The label’s notes describe a baile-funk-based beat with chopped vocals and electronic synths; HUTA wrote the lyrics and shares composing credit with Universe. Listen for how those short vocal fragments act as part of the rhythm, then compare that approach with “BOOM.”

Icy & Spicy
TEMPERATURE · Single
“Icy & Spicy” leads the July 2026 single album TEMPERATURE. Its label notes connect the song’s Afro-house rhythm, bass and brass to the sensation of Formula 1 speed. HUTA wrote the lyrics and co-composed with Universe and TAG. The listening point is the transition into the drop, where that racing concept meets the arrangement.
