KPOP MAGAZINE 50 ranks eligible recent K-pop releases by the growth of their official YouTube music video views over the previous seven days.
= 7-DAY VIEW GROWTH
Eligible releases
K-pop songs with an official music video released within the preceding 90 days at the end of the measurement period. Singles, title tracks, pre-releases, debuts, collaborations and editorially eligible English/global and Japanese singles can qualify. The Release Calendar supplies candidates; official sources are checked for missing releases.
One song, one official video
We select one canonical full music video from the artist, label or a verified official distributor. Multiple official uploads are not added together. Fan uploads, reuploads, reactions, covers, compilations, Shorts and teasers are excluded. Artist and release links use the magazine’s existing records.
Collection and publication
Planned collection: daily at 09:00 KST. Planned publication: Mondays after the 09:00 collection, covering the preceding Monday-to-Monday period. These schedules are not active yet. Visitors read stored, published results; opening a page does not collect new statistics.
A full measurement window
Both endpoint observations must be within ten minutes of their scheduled collection times and at least 168 hours apart. No estimates, interpolation or annualized growth are used. A missing endpoint postpones that song’s eligibility. Each edition will disclose its measured coverage and exclusions.
Ties and positions
Highest recorded seven-day growth comes first. Equal growth is ordered by artist name, then song title, then canonical video ID. Lifetime views never determine rank or break a tie. We publish up to 50 qualifying songs without padding unfilled positions.
NEW and chart movement
Newly tracked songs wait for a full measurement window; partial-period growth is never placed in the ranking. NEW means an eligible song was absent from the immediately preceding weekly edition, including re-entries. Movement compares consecutive editions. Peak is its best published position; weeks counts actual appearances.
Corrections and fair treatment
Decreasing counts, conflicting records or other detected anomalies are flagged for review. We do not silently adjust counts or manually boost artists. ELLI, ZELLA and other KPOP MAGAZINE projects follow the same rules. Any required correction will be disclosed alongside the affected edition.
What this chart measures
This is an official music-video momentum chart, not a measure of total popularity, streams, sales, fandom size or overall industry performance. Public view counts do not let us reliably separate paid promotion from other views. Coverage is limited to verified tracked videos with sufficient records.
KPOP MAGAZINE calculates and publishes this independent chart. YouTube is the underlying public-statistics source, not the publisher or endorser. Collection and archive retention must follow the approved data-use terms; archive availability may be limited by those terms.
